That’s why our teams are comprised of compassionate, dedicated professionals from a variety of backgrounds who collaborate to provide the very best evidence-based care for our clients at all levels of care.Position SummaryDietetic Technicians work closely with adults and adolescent clients, their families, and staff (registered dietitians, therapists, food service, and BHTs) to provide guidance and education on nutrition and support on nutritional needs.Schedule Shifts: Tuesday 11a-3p Wednesday 9a-2:30p Thursday 11a-3p Friday 7:30a-2:30pRotating weekend coverage required (2xmonth)Rotating Holiday Coverage (1-2) RequiredCompensation DisclosureStarting hourly range between $19.00-$21.00, with shift diff as applicable Registered DT: Starting hourly range between $23.00-$24.00, with shift diff as applicableFinal Compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for the positionHow Dietetic Technicians Empower RecoveryParticipates in meals and snacks with clients/residents and their familiesAssists the dietitian in completing a variety of clinical tasks such as daily weight tracking, case management (not preparation), group preparation, and meal planningAssists with the creation and delivery of nutrition education materials per nutrition department and agency guidelinesCoordinates the day-to-day ordering of external meal purchases with the assigned meal plans in partnership with registered dietitian(s)Receives orders and keeps food storage areas clean, maintains kitchen cleanliness and organization Qualifications Associate’s degree in Dietetic Technology or a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics (without the internship) is requiredIndividuals pursuing a degree in Nutritional Science or equivalent who have completed the following minimal courses:Human NutritionCollege Math or equivalentIntroduction to Medical Nutrition Therapy or equivalencyIntroduction to Nutrition Counseling/Group Education or equivalentOne year of clinical or public health experience preferredPrevious eating disorder experience is preferredMust have a valid driver’s license and be authorized to driveServSafe Certification preferredWhat We OfferEmployee Benefits: We understand the importance of a well-rounded benefits package.
