Manager, Last Mile Operations

Job Description: Oversee the daily operations of contract carriers Maintain contractor schedules and monitor routes Use route planning software to build efficient delivery routes Manage the dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues throughout the day Identify problem areas and restructure routes to improve operational efficiencies Train and develop contract carriers and dispatchers Ensure compliance with corporate warehouse policies Supervise employees and address complaints/resolving problems Requirements: 4 years related logistics and supervisory experience Experience with Microsoft Office such as Word, Outlook and Excel Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack Bachelor's degree in business, logistics or similar (preferred) Availability to work a variety of shifts, including holidays, days, evenings, nights and weekends Experience mentoring, training and guiding newer/less-experienced team members Bilingual English/Spanish (read, write and speak both languages) Strong business acumen Benefits: full health insurance (medical, dental and vision) 401(k) life insurance disability opportunity to participate in a company incentive plan
