Technical Collections Engineer

The qualified candidate is versed in telecommunications technology, Wi-Fi network operations analysis, CDMA, UMTS, LTE and RF collection. In addition, the candidate possess experience as a systems administrator to troubleshoot and identify technical issues in order to optimize system performance. As a member of this highly qualified team, the right candidate will support systems administration and signals collection.CLEARANCE LEVEL-Top Secret/SCI with PolygraphRequired SkillsProtocol analysis, signals analysis, network troubleshooting, network traffic characterization, and network security and analysisTechnical competency in one of the following:Signals collection/analysis/protocolNetwork Engineering/SecurityExcellent communication skillsWillingness and ability to learn new skillsDesired SkillsBroad knowledge of hardware maintenance and care, system administration, knowledge of automation technologies, and scriptingKnowledge of TCP/IP protocolsDemonstrated experience providing system maintenance and health monitoringExperience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Virtual MachinesPrior experience as a military Signal Collections Analyst or SIGINT AnalystDemonstrated ability to work as part of a small teamEducation and Experience:• Bachelor's Degree desired with 1-2 years relevant experience• Direct relevant military experience can be applied in lieu of a degreeAt Nightwing, we value collaboration and teamwork.
