In this hands-on role, you'll help build high quality components while working in a fast-paced production environment that values teamwork, integrity, and growth. If you enjoy using hand tools, staying active throughout your shift, and working with a collaborative team, this could be a great fit for you!What You'll Do as an Assembly Technician: Assemble vehicle parts, sub-systems, and componentsPrepare materials and build-up parts according to specificationsPerform inspections and quality checks throughout productionOperate power tools, hoists, and various production equipmentFollow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work areaWhat You Need to Bring to the Assembly Technician Role: At least 6+ months of experience within past year working with power tools or hand toolsMust be able to read and interpret a tape measureMust have experience using power and hand toolsMust be able to follow written blueprint instructionsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAbility to bend, twist, turn, kneel, squat, and reach overheadAbility to stand/walk up to 8 hours a day with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationMust have history of good attendanceWhy You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing SolutionsEnjoy weekly pay , access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and opportunities for long-term stability through temp-to-hire roles.
