Full-Stack IoT Software EngineerElmhurst, IL (onsite position) Target Base Pay: $125,000-$150,000/yearWe are seeking a Full-Stack IoT Software Engineer to develop and support a customer-facing remote monitoring platform. This role is responsible for building scalable web applications, integrating IoT devices, and maintaining reliable cloud-based infrastructure.You will work across the full stack to deliver real-time visibility into connected systems, leveraging Azure services, polling architectures, and device integrations. This is a hands-on role that bridges hardware, cloud, and web technologies to create seamless user experiences and dependable data pipelines.Key ResponsibilitiesIoT Platform DevelopmentDevelop and maintain a customer-facing remote monitoring platform using PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and MySQLBuild dashboards, controls, and reporting tools for real-time and historical device dataImprove platform performance, scalability, and usability for both internal and external usersEnsure secure data handling and user access across the platformIoT Device Integration and Data CollectionIntegrate and manage IoT devices (such as Digi or similar hardware) within the platformDesign and maintain polling services to collect, normalize, and process telemetry dataEnsure reliable communication between field devices and cloud infrastructureTroubleshoot connectivity, data integrity, and device-level issuesSystems Integration and APIsDesign and implement RESTful APIs for internal and external integrationsEnable seamless data flow between devices, backend systems, and user interfacesEnsure APIs are secure, well-documented, and performantSupport integrations with third-party platforms and customer systemsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldStrong full-stack development experience with PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and MySQLExperience working with IoT systems, device communication, or telemetry dataExperience designing and integrating RESTful APIs, including authenticationFamiliarity with Azure or similar cloud platformsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to translate non-technical requirements into effective technical solutions
