Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant - Full TimeWakefield, NHSaco Bay PT- Outpatient OrthopedicsSaco Bay PT in Wakefield, NH is seeking a Full Time licensed Physical Therapist Assistant(PTA) for our outpatient orthopedic center.Wakefield is a small, vibrant, growing out-patient clinic in the town of Wakefield, NH. Our goal is to grow into a clinic of 2-3 therapists. We have a therapist of 30 years living and working in this community with a strong orthopedic background who loves sharing her knowledge with patients to empower them and guide them to return to their full potential. Patients are highly motivated, compliant, and excited for their therapy. Our patient population is generally adults in the 50-80-year-old range with diagnosis to include joint replacements, spine pain, hip and knee pain, balance and falls prevention, and other general orthopedic needs. Possesses training and education which allows him/her to assist the Physical Therapist in carrying out prescribed treatment program. Implements, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures. Maintains positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhances and expands client relations with facilities and their staff. Qualifications A valid state license (where applicable), registration or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant upon graduation from an approved curriculum for Physical Therapist Assistants, and having passed a national examination for Physical Therapist Assistants certified by the CAPTE. State license and/or certification must be valid in the state in which the individual will practice.
