A Day In The LifeSet up and adjust machines and equipment to ensure production of high-quality products.Perform all required quality tests, certifications, and production checks as directed by Quality Assurance or supervisory personnel.Conduct ongoing visual inspections of products, accurately record production data, report and document scrap, and carry out rework or other assigned tasks as needed.Make routine equipment adjustments to maintain process efficiency and ensure welding meets company standards.Manually repair or hand-weld products that fall below standard due to tolerance variations during robotic operations.Safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, handheld grinders, and other departmental equipment.What will help you thrive in this role?Preferred Qualifications:Prior welding experience and certification are preferred but not required.Required Skills and Abilities:Ability to successfully pass the AWS Certification Test in accordance with the Company Welding Policy.Proficient in operating overhead cranes, forklifts, handheld grinders, and other departmental equipment.Capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings and routing sheets.Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and other devices.Competent in performing Statistical Process Control (SPC) procedures and tests, with the ability to interpret results and make necessary process adjustments.Ability to effectively navigate and utilize Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems.Hubbell IncorporatedHubbell creates critical infrastructure solutions that power our customers, communities, people and the planet.
