About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled counselor/therapist to join our team at our Bunkie Inpatient Behavioral Hospital. As a professional counselor/therapist, you will be responsible for providing individual and group therapy sessions to patients with mental health and substance abuse disorders. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. Minimum Qualifications:Master's degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or related fieldCurrent state licensure as CSW, LMSW, LCSW, LPC, P-LPCExperience providing therapy services to patients with mental health and substance abuse disordersStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in an inpatient psychiatric settingExperience with evidence-based treatment modalities Responsibilities:Conduct individual and group therapy sessions with patientsDevelop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment teamMaintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plansParticipate in treatment team meetings and case conferencesProvide crisis intervention services as needed Skills: As a professional therapist, you will utilize your strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families. You will also use your expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities to develop and implement effective treatment plans. Your ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team will be essential in providing comprehensive care to our patients. Additionally, your crisis intervention skills will be crucial in managing any acute situations that may arise.
