The Ford Cost Estimating department is responsible for developing, analyzing, and utilizing cost estimates of automotive components to achieve efficient design and commercial outcomes for vehicle and unit programs. We are a global team with team members located in 8 countries. In This Position...This role is directly responsible for overall cost estimating core operations, including: Establishing and maintaining our cost estimating methodologies Acquiring objective and reliable rate information within each region Performing qualitative and quantitative analysis on aggregate estimate data including scale analysis Coordinating internally costed teardown activities within the Cost Estimating department This role is supported by a team of cost analysts primarily based in the US and Mexico.
