Director of Nursing

Flint Hills Technical College is seeking a Director of Nursing. The Director of Nursing is responsible for supervising all aspects of the nursing programs including but not limited to supervision of curriculum, instruction, personnel, clinical and facilities. Programs presently under the supervision of this position are: Practical Nursing, Healthcare Administration and Management, and LPN IV Therapy Certification. This is an on-site position and is not eligible for remote work.Qualifications:Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college/university requiredCurrent Kansas RN licenseA minimum of two years of experience teaching in an accredited nursing program or supervisory/leadership experience in the field of instructionCurrent working knowledge of clinical procedures and documentation required.Supervisory experience highly desiredEssential Functions:Perform administrative duties as the primary focus of responsibility for the position as assigned and as per KSBN guidelines.
