Treatment Specialist - Men's Residential Unit
Community and Family Resources is seeking a Treatment Specialist to assist the clinical counseling staff and medical staff with providing addiction rehabilitation services to adult clients in our Men's Residential unit in Fort Dodge. This position is a great fit for someone who is interested in the field of recovery and assisting people on their recovery journey. Lived experience is not a requirement for this role but we encourage those with lived experience to applyEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesAssists clients in completion of necessary assessment forms/documents as needed.Orients clients to program services.Provides oversight and monitoring of clients’ whereabouts and behaviors.Offers clients feedback and support.Reports client issues to staff.Assists with light housekeeping duties, including shredding, trash, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and other areas as assignedAssist with transportation of clients to scheduled appointments, planned activities, or as directed by the supervisor.Assists with rounds of the facility.Assists with follow up surveys and entering data.ScheduleFull-TimeHours: M-Th Overnights (10p-8a), includes some holidays.Full-TimeHours 7a-3p with some 11a-7p, includes every other weekend, some holidays.Education And Experience QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Medication Management Certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment is required.A valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance is required.BenefitsCFR offers a variety of benefits to our part-time employees!
