Treasury Management Relationship Manager

Job SummaryThe Treasury Management Relationship Manager is responsible for driving deposit growth through proactive business development, prospecting, and expansion of commercial and treasury management relationships. This role focuses on acquiring and growing commercial client relationships-including healthcare organizations, educational institutions, nonprofits, government, and other public entities-throughout the Bank's Western New York market. This position advances the Bank's strategic growth objectives through strong client engagement, collaboration with internal partners, and proactive business development. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop, manage, and grow profitable treasury management client relationships. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by delivering high-quality treasury and cash management solutions. Support internal bank associates within treasury and cash management functions. Generate quality referrals across all business units, including commercial lending. Drive deposit growth and contribute to overall market financial performance. Conduct proactive outbound calls and client outreach to meet established goals. Collaborate with Retail Banking associates and Commercial Lenders to manage market performance in alignment with budget objectives. Participate in community and civic organizations to enhance the Bank's visibility and presence. Build and maintain strong, effective relationships with internal and external partners. Stay current on treasury management products, services, and industry best practices. Perform other duties as assigned. Additional ResponsibilitiesAttend seminars, training sessions, and meetings as appropriate. Maintain confidentiality in accordance with the Bank's Code of Ethics. Adhere to all established security procedures. Actively participate in team initiatives to achieve departmental and organizational goals. Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesCustomer Service: Strong understanding of customer service principles, including needs assessment, service quality standards, and customer satisfaction evaluation. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities. Administration & Management: Knowledge of business and management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, and organizational effectiveness. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Financial Acumen: Knowledge of financial markets, banking operations, and financial analysis and reporting. Technology: Proficiency with personal computers and company systems, including email and intranet applications. Banking Knowledge: Thorough understanding of banking products, services, security protocols, and transaction policies. Regulatory Compliance: Working knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act requirements and all applicable regulatory, security, and bank policies and procedures. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:No supervisory responsibilities EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree preferred. Or equivalent combination of education and experience. CTP or CCM designation preferred PHYSICAL/WORK CONDITIONS: In the performance of respective tasks and duties, the employee is expected to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
