Part-Time Recreation Leader

Part-Time Recreation Leader – Town of Drexel The Town of Drexel Parks and Recreation Department is seeking an energetic Part-Time Recreation Leader (15–18 hours/week) to help lead programs and activities at the R.O. Huffman Community Center and surrounding grounds. This role supports sports, games, events, and recreation programs for all ages while helping maintain a safe and welcoming environment. Key Duties Lead and supervise recreation activities, sports, and games Monitor participants and enforce safety rules Set up and take down equipment for programs and events Assist with facility opening/closing and light cleaning Greet patrons, answer questions, and assist with registrations Provide friendly and professional customer service Qualifications Experience working with youth or recreation programs preferred or a passion for recreation/sports/youth and senior events Strong communication and interpersonal skills Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays The Town of Drexel serves approximately 1,800 residents. The R.O. Huffman Community Center is growing and expanding its programs and services. Salary & Benefits $10-$15 hourly depending on qualifications and experience.
