U.S. VETS, the nation’s largest nonprofit dedicated to ending veteran homelessness, is seeking a dedicated Transitional Housing Program Coordinator to oversee programs that help veterans transition from homelessness to permanent housing. This is an ideal opportunity for a compassionate leader with strong clinical and administrative skills who wants to make an impact on the lives of those who served.What You’ll DoLead program operations and ensure compliance with organizational, accreditation, and funder standardsSupervise and support staff delivering services such as counseling, employment assistance, benefits navigation, and housing referralsFacilitate a therapeutic community that fosters peer support, responsibility, and housing retention for veteransImplement evidence-based practices including trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapyCollaborate with partners such as the VA and local community organizations to enhance service deliveryMonitor and report program outcomes, maintain data quality, and generate reports for leadership and fundersPrograms You’ll OverseeTransitional housing models including bridge housing, low demand, service-intensive, and clinical treatment programsSpecialized programs for targeted populations such as women veterans or justice-involved veteransNot sure if you meet every requirement?
