Behavior Technician / DSP – $35/hr (Part-Time)
Private families seeking a compassionate, energetic 1:1 behavior technician/direct support provider for young adults with autism. Training and supervision provided by a BCBA. Positions available in Salinas and Watsonville.
What You’ll Do:
Provide 1:1 support to clients in their home and community settings
Support the development of communication, social, vocational, and independent living skills
Assist with daily routines, household tasks, and leisure activities
Implement individualized skill-acquisition programs and behavior intervention plans
Collect data and document client progress
Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team committed to making a meaningful impact
Transport clients to community-based activities (mileage reimbursed)
Requirements:
2+ years Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) experience
Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
Valid driver’s license, reliable and fully insured vehicle, clear driving record
1-year minimum commitment
Available Saturdays (day shift)
Schedule & Pay:
Part-time hours, 3-4 days per week
Day shifts 9:00-5:00 p.m.
Must be available (at a minimum) Monday and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Starting at $35/hour
