Junior Network Administrator

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role Day-to-day operational support of the network, including monitoring infrastructure operations and performance, identifying potential problems, and resolving network incidents. Infrastructure integration and detailed follow-through from high-level design plans and objectives, through acquisition and installation. Identifying, documenting, and tracking infrastructure physical and logical configuration. Troubleshooting network systems when necessary and coordinating improvements to the network. Providing status accounting and change management of infrastructure. Interfacing and managing vendor interactions for hardware and services provided. Providing “help desk” support to interact with users to help resolve problems with infrastructure operation, performance, or maintenance.What You'll Need High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of prior relevant experience. Active DoD Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship). Ability and willingness to work onsite. Demonstrable skills in implementing and managing networked classified computer systems in compliance with DoD security guidelines. Experience with network LAN/WAN/VLAN design and implementation.
