Role: IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) Contract: Long-Term Contract Location: Spring, Texas- 5 Days Onsite Each Week Job Overview: * We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Systems Analyst to support, enhance and optimize our IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) ecosystem and associated components. * This role focuses on improving performance of complex models, designing scalable planning structures, and ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and accuracy of the end-to-end Planning Analytics architecture, including data integration pipelines, calculation logic, and reporting frameworks. Key Responsibilities: * Select, design, and implement solutions to improve the performance of complex Excel based models running in IBM Planning Analytics Local. * Develop and enhance TM1 models, including creation of new cubes, dimensions, rules, and performance optimization strategies. * Build, modify, and maintain planning and reporting assets through Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) and Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE). * Create and maintain Turbo Integrator (TI) processes to support data loads, transformations, and automation. * Configure and maintain IBM Planning Analytics Local and Planning Analytics Workspace on Windows Server and OpenShift environments. * Maintain documentation for system configurations, TI processes, data flows, and infrastructure requirements. * Diagnose and resolve system configuration, performance, or data-related issues in collaboration with business and technical teams. * Identify and implement opportunities for automation, performance tuning, and process optimization. Qualifications * Proficiency with: * IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) * Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) * Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE) * Turbo Integrator (TI) scripting * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot performance and data issues. * Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams. * Desirable Competencies: * Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, including model structure, data imports, and reporting. * Familiarity with Snowflake data warehousing concepts, including schema design, performance optimization, and data pipelines. * Proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries, joins, aggregations, and data validation scripts. * Experience creating Power BI dashboards and data models, including data preparation and transformation activities. Top 3 Skills: * Proficiency with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) * Proficiency with Planning Analytics Workspace or Planning Analytics for Excel * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot performance and data issues.
