*Responsibilities*
* Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
* Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
* Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while handling cash safely and accurately
* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and food handling
* Assist with ensuring proper food safety practices are followed
* Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine, spirits, cocktails, and menu options based on guest preferences
* Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth service flow
*Experience*
* Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting is highly preferred
* Experience in fine dining environments or upscale restaurants is a plus
* Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
* Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately
* Prior host/hostess or cashiering experience can be helpful in managing guest flow smoothly
