One person, one GPU.If you'd like to build the world's best AI cloud, join us.Note: This position requires presence in our San Jose or San Francisco office location 4 days per week; Lambda’s designated work from home day is currently Tuesday.What You’ll DoIPO & Financial ReportingSupport preparation and review of the S-1, including financial statements, MD&A, and footnotes in line with SEC and U.S. GAAP requirementsPartner with FP&A, Legal, and Investor Relations to ensure reporting aligns with the overall S-1 narrativeWork with auditors, valuation specialists, and legal counsel to support filing and audit readinessPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP and future SEC reporting requirements (10-K, 10-Q)Assist with non-GAAP reconciliations, key metrics, and investor-facing disclosuresTechnical Accounting & Policy DevelopmentDraft and maintain technical accounting memos to support audits and SEC reviewSupport SOX 404(a) readiness by improving documentation and key controls over financial reportingHelp develop and update accounting policies and procedures in line with the U.S. GAAPProcess Improvement & Team DevelopmentSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual close to ensure consistent application of accounting policiesPartner with cross-functional teams to assess and document accounting impacts of new initiatives and contractsImprove accounting processes, strengthen controls, and increase automationMonitor new FASB guidance and support implementation of reporting changesProvide guidance to team members on technical accounting topicsSupport ad-hoc and special projects related to accounting and reportingYou7+ years of accounting experience, including strong exposure to technical accounting and financial reportingActive CPA licenseStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience researching technical issuesExperience at a Big 4 firm and/or high-growth technology companyProficient in accounting systems (NetSuite preferred) and ExcelStrong written and verbal communication skillsWell-organized with strong time management and attention to detailSelf-starter who can work independently and meet deadlinesComfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environmentCurious, proactive, and eager to learnNice to HaveExperience supporting an S-1 filing and transition to public company reportingBackground in a national office or accounting advisory practiceExperience in a startup or high-growth technology companyFamiliarity with AI, SaaS/IaaS, or consumption-based modelsKnowledge of SEC reporting requirementsExperience implementing new accounting standardsExperience improving processes and supporting system implementationsAbility to simplify complex topics and build scalable processesComfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environmentsProactive mindset with a track record of driving improvementsSalary Range InformationThe annual salary range for this position has been set based on market data and other factors.
