Machine Maintenance Technician I - Nights

Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program
Perform light preventive maintenance on production equipment
Complete all required documentation
Assist in correcting unplanned machine breakdowns
Assist in machine moves throughout the shop
Provide technical assistance to production personnel
Welding fabrication and repair as needed
Maintain and operate coolant recycling system
Assist with emptying chip bins as needed
Replace all machine filters including filter mists
Where applicable perform visual inspections on all air compressors and dryers
Assist with troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic pneumatic components
Where applicable check and replenish or replace machine oil reservoirs
Where applicable check and replenish or replace machine coolant reservoirs
Service company vehicles as required
Where applicable clean/fill and inspect all forklift and floor scrubber batteries as needed
Where applicable take coolant concentricity readings in all production machines and coolant reclaiming system, document all readings
Where applicable perform visual inspections on all online air compressors and dryers, document all readings
Where applicable replace all air compressor oil and air filters as required
Cleanup work areas after jobs are completed
Demonstrate commitment to the TEAM Industries Quality Management System and Objectives
Promote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to obtain Forklift and Aerial Lift Certification
Must be able to perform assigned duties with minimal supervision
Must have general knowledge of email and database applications
Ability to communicate with a variety of people

Forklift and Scissor Lift training
Reference OJT
Physical Demands
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs., rarely lifting up to 70lbs.
Ability to stand for 100% of shift
Ability to do repetitive motions, i.e. bending, twisting, walking, crouching
Ability to work at elevated heights
Ability to climb ladders
Ability to continuously operate a minimum of 3 hours

Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 1 year mechanical and/or automotive experience
Forklift operator experience
