Senior Regional Vice President, Senior Living Operations - CONNECTICUT
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Location: Northeastern United States (Overseeing 5–10 Senior Living, Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care Communities)
The Role is:-- Regional Director of Operations provides executive‑level leadership and full operational oversight for a portfolio of senior living communities across Massachusetts and Connecticut. This role is accountable for operational excellence, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and resident satisfaction across all service levels. The RDO drives growth, leads high‑performing teams, and ensures every community reflects the organisation’s mission, values, and service standards.
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute regional operational strategies aligned with enterprise goals.
Partner with the CEO and executive team on long‑term growth, service innovation, and market expansion.
Monitor senior living and healthcare trends to anticipate demand and adjust operational priorities.
Operational Management
Oversee daily operations for 5–10 communities, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance.
Standardise operating procedures and service delivery across IL, AL, and Memory Care.
Lead initiatives to strengthen occupancy, retention, workforce engagement, and operational performance.
Financial Leadership
Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets across the regional portfolio.
Analyse KPIs including occupancy, NOI, revenue, expense control, and satisfaction metrics.
Implement cost‑optimisation strategies without compromising care quality or service standards.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations across Massachusetts and Connecticut.
Lead quality assurance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee surveys, audits, and accreditation processes, ensuring strong outcomes and corrective action plans.
Leadership Development & Culture
Lead, mentor, and develop Executive Directors and regional teams.
Strengthen leadership pipelines, succession planning, and internal talent development.
Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and inclusion across all communities.
Stakeholder & Community Engagement
Build trusted relationships with residents, families, healthcare partners, and referral networks.
Represent the organisation at industry events and professional associations.
Partner with marketing and business development to enhance brand presence and occupancy.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum 10 years of progressive senior leadership experience in senior living or healthcare operations.
Proven success managing multi‑site portfolios and leading diverse, high‑performing teams.
Strong expertise in financial management, regulatory compliance, and operational strategy.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
