Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Framer to join our dynamic construction team. you will be responsible for creating precise, high-quality framing solutions tailored to residential projects. Your expertise in carpentry, blueprint reading, and use of hand and power tools will ensure that every project meets our high standards of craftsmanship and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to beautiful, functional living spaces while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You'll need your own tools and transportation. Duties Interpret construction plans and technical drawings to accurately measure and cut framing materials. Construct custom wood frames for doors, windows, walls, and other structural elements using hand tools and power tools for woodworking. Install siding, trim, molding, and fixtures with precision to enhance aesthetic appeal and durability. Perform heavy lifting and assembly of wood construction materials on-site while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct restoration tasks including water damage remediation. Ensure power tool safety by following established guidelines during all phases of framing and carpentry work. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to interpret construction plans accurately and execute projects efficiently. Requirements Proven experience in residential carpentry, framing, or related construction roles with a strong understanding of blueprint reading. Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels, levels, and measuring devices. Familiarity with power tools for woodworking including drills, saws, sanders, and nail guns. Knowledge of woodworking machines and materials used in wood construction projects. Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety practices including power tool safety protocols. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working at heights or in confined spaces. Additional skills such as door hanging, fixture installation, siding application, tile laying, caulking, stucco work, plastering, rebar installation, water damage restoration, mold remediation or remodeling are considered advantageous. Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour Experience: framing: 3 years (Preferred) License/Certification: license (Preferred) Location: Pinellas County, FL (Preferred) Work Location: In person
