Join us.Role SummaryThe Business Applications Lead turns business needs into systems that actually work. Partnering with business analysts and project teams, this role designs, implements, and refines business applications that help teams do their jobs better—without unnecessary complexity. From launching new solutions and managing data to guiding change requests and user adoption, the Business Applications Lead is a hands‑on problem solver who keeps tools flexible, scalable, and aligned with how the business really operates.Travel: Ability to travel up to 10% for company gatherings or to project sites.Location: Denver, CO (3 day hybrid in-office role)Compensation: $130-$165K (Offers Bonus)Essential ResponsibilitiesPartner with business analysts to translate business requirements into effective system designs and configurationsImplement, configure, and maintain business applications, monitoring usage and performance to drive continuous improvementManage application data, including structure, quality, integrity, and lifecycle considerationsLead the intake, evaluation, and execution of application change requests.Support thoughtful change management efforts, including communication and user adoption activitiesCollaborate with project managers on application‑related initiatives and serve as an escalation point for application issuesMaintain documentation for system configurations, integrations, processes, and standard operating proceduresSupport application integrations and data flows between systems in partnership with IT and external vendorsEnsure business applications are reliable, well‑governed, and aligned with business needs.Administer application access, roles, and permissions in alignment with internal governance standardsEducation, Skills, And Experience4–7 years of experience implementing, configuring, administering, or supporting SaaS business applications in a cross‑functional environment. Examples may include Smartsheet, Salesforce, ServiceNow, NetSuite, or other similar platformsBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceRelevant certifications related to change management, business systems, automation, or application delivery are a plus (e.g., Prosci change management certifications, foundational low‑code or workflow certifications), but are not requiredExperience partnering with business analysts and stakeholders in a requirements-driven delivery environmentStrong understanding of data structures, data quality, and data lifecycle management within business applicationsExperience supporting application change requests with an emphasis on user adoption and effective rolloutAbility to troubleshoot application issues, manage escalations, and coordinate resolution with IT teams or vendorsStrong documentation skills, including creating and maintaining system and process documentationExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with business analysts, IT Operations, and project managersNice-to-Have ExperienceExperience with low‑code or no‑code platforms and workflow automation toolsFamiliarity with system integrations, APIs, or data synchronization, and experience working in project delivery environments alongside project managersExperience supporting multiple business applications or a small application portfolioFueled by Excellence & CollaborationAt Rowan, we are a distributed team united by a common mission to transform data center delivery.
