Job Title: Salesforce Okta EngineerEmployment Type: 6+ Months (Possible Extensions)Location: Arlington, VA 22202 (2 days Onsite/Week)Role Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer with specialized expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), specifically utilizing Okta. In this role, you will be responsible for bridging our Salesforce development needs with our enterprise security initiatives. Your primary focus will be leading the rollout of Okta Fastpass for our Salesforce environment, handling its installation and ongoing operations, and managing day-to-day Okta administration tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesOkta Fastpass & Identity ManagementInstall and Operationalize Okta Fastpass: Lead the end-to-end installation, configuration, and deployment of Okta Fastpass across enterprise devices, ensuring a seamless password less authentication experience.Salesforce Okta Fastpass Rollout:Spearhead the integration and rollout of Okta Fastpass specifically for the Salesforce platform. Ensure secure, uninterrupted access for all Salesforce users while maintaining compliance with security policies.Day-to-Day Okta Administration:Manage user lifecycles, provisioning/deprovisioning, access requests, group rules, and application integrations within the Okta administration console.Authentication Support & Troubleshooting:Act as the primary escalation point for any SSO, MFA, or Okta Fastpass authentication issues related to Salesforce and other integrated applications.Salesforce Development & OperationsCustom Salesforce Development:Design, develop, test, and deploy customized solutions in Salesforce using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and SOQL.Platform Security:Work closely with security and IT teams to ensure Salesforce configurations align with Zero Trust and IAM best practices.API & Integrations: Maintain and build secure REST/SOAP API integrations between Salesforce, Okta, and other third-party enterprise systems.Qualifications & RequirementsExperience:3+ years of proven experience as a Salesforce Developer, alongside hands-on experience in Okta administration.Okta Expertise: Proven track record of configuring and deploying Okta Fastpass, Single Sign-On (SSO), SAML, OIDC, OAuth, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).Salesforce Skills: Strong proficiency in Salesforce programmatic development (Apex, LWC, triggers, integrations) and declarative configuration.Certifications (Preferred):• Salesforce Platform Developer I / II• Okta Certified Professional or Okta Certified AdministratorEEO:“Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of – Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans.”
