Sales Application Engineer

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience, and 3-5 years of applicable experience Extensive knowledge of centrifugal slurry pumps and pump systems required 25% travel each month to industrial sites SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Inventor knowledge and experience with 3D design software required. Ability to operate general office equipment including personal computers. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Communicate effectively orally and in writing. Responsibilities: Review customer’s technical requirements to design, select, and configure pumps, and pumping systems Respond to customer requests by understanding their pumping system needs and offering the best solution Provides design engineers with technical information collection As a slurry pump expert, provide technical support to outside sales, inside sales, and customers Troubleshoot customer issues regarding slurry pumps by visiting sites and diagnosing the issue Ability to lay out and space pumps for our customers Develop and maintain product knowledge necessary to service customers within their assigned market Job Type: Full-time Pay: $54,909.36 - $66,127.40 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience level: 1 year Schedule: Monday to Friday Travel requirement: Travel Experience: centrifugal slurry pumps: 3 years (Required) Sales Application Engineer: 3 years (Required) SolidWorks: 1 year (Required) AutoCAD: 1 year (Required) general office equipment: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
