International Arbitration Fellow
Our International Arbitration Practice specializes in resolving cross-border disputes through arbitration, offering clients a strategic alternative to traditional litigation. We provide specialized legal representation across a wide range of international arbitration matters, including commercial disputes, investment treaty claims and complex multi-party arbitrations. Our team handles all stages of the arbitration process, from drafting and negotiating arbitration agreements to representing clients in hearings and enforcing awards. With deep expertise in various arbitral institutions and rules, including ICC, LCIA and UNCITRAL, we help clients achieve favorable outcomes and navigate the complexities of international dispute resolution, ensuring efficient and effective outcomes of global disputes.Roles at this level will be developing foundational legal skills and supporting senior lawyers with relatively straightforward legal tasks. International Lawyers perform same or similar tasks to other Junior Associates, however they are not qualified in the jurisdiction they work in and may need to have their work signed off by a solicitor qualified in the jurisdiction of operation.The Roles And Responsibilities Of This Job IncludeConducts research on legal issues, applicable law, and statutes to support case preparation and strategyDrafts basic legal documents, including pleadings, motions and discovery requests under the guidance of more senior lawyersOrganizes and maintains case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and readily accessibleAssists with the discovery process by reviewing documents, managing evidence and preparing discovery materialsAttends hearings and depositions to observe and assist senior lawyers, taking detailed notes during proceedingsHandles basic day-to-day communication with clients to gather information and respond to inquiriesHandles administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and filing documentsThis role reports to PartnerEqual OpportunitiesWhite & Case is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and is committed to creating a fair workplace.
