This role involves providing high-quality, resident-focused care while supporting the daily clinical operations of the nursing team./n/nUnder the direction of the Director of Nursing, Nurse Supervisor, and facility leadership, you will help ensure that all care is delivered in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, while promoting a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents./n/nKey Responsibilities/n/n/n/tDeliver direct nursing care to residents based on individualized care plans/n/tSupport and collaborate with Nursing Assistants and other care team members/n/tFor RNs: assist in supervising LPNs and Nursing Assistants and overseeing daily clinical activities/n/tMonitor resident conditions and report changes to the appropriate team members/n/tMaintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all regulations and facility policies/n/tFoster a positive and compassionate atmosphere for residents and staff/n/n/nQualifications/n/n/n/tActive RN or LPN license in the state of Iowa, or currently working toward licensure/n/tMust be at least 18 years of age/n/tAbility to read, write, and communicate clearly in English/n/tWorking knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable healthcare regulations/n/tPrevious experience in long-term care or a supervisory role is preferred, but not required/n/tFamiliarity with regulations governing senior living or long-term care settings is a plus/n/tGenuine compassion and a positive attitude toward caring for the elderly/nConnected Healthcare Job ID #176014.
