Position Summary
Invocon is seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate thrives in a hands‑on environment, enjoys tackling complex technical problems, and wants to contribute to the full product lifecycle—from concept and design through testing, integration, and deployment.
Primary Responsibilities
Design, develop, and test analog and digital circuits for sensing, telemetry, and embedded systems
Create schematics, PCB layouts, and documentation for new and existing designs
Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and systems engineering teams to develop integrated solutions
Participate in requirements development, design reviews, and verification activities
Perform board bring‑up, troubleshooting, and validation using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.)
Support manufacturing and production teams with test procedures and design improvements
Contribute to innovation by researching new technologies and proposing creative solutions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field
2+ years of relevant experience (or strong academic/project background for entry‑level candidates)
Proficiency in analog/digital circuit design and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, KiCad)
Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and low‑power design
Experience with lab testing, troubleshooting, and instrumentation
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical teams
Ability to work proactively in a collaborative, small‑team environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with RF design, wireless systems, or high‑reliability electronics
Knowledge of aerospace or defense hardware development standards
Embedded firmware familiarity (C/C++)
Experience with environmental or qualification testing
