Central Ohio (New Albany, Ohio office) Southeastern Equipment CompanyPosition OverviewSoutheastern Equipment Company is seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, and tech-savvy Sales Support Associate to join our growing team. This position requires candidates to reside in the Central Ohio area.In this role, you will serve as a critical partner to our Regional Sales Manager and Sales/Rental/PSSR teams by managing the administrative and operational work that keeps deals moving efficiently from opportunity to close. You will play a key role in document management, contract preparation, equipment research, sales packet creation, trucking coordination, and ensuring every transaction is accurate, compliant, and completed on time.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and take pride in precision and follow-through, this is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact.Primary ResponsibilitiesSales Process SupportSupport the Regional Sales Manager and Sales/Rental/PSSR teams with administrative functions related to equipment sales, rentals, demos, and leasesPrepare contracts, sales packets, finance documents, and supporting paperworkCreate, update, open, and close opportunities in SalesforceResearch equipment availability, pricing, and attachment compatibilityVerify trade information, customer account details, tax status, insurance documentation, and credit approvalsEnsure complete and accurate documentation prior to invoicing and fundingEquipment & Inventory CoordinationDetermine whether equipment is SEC stock or requires special orderingCoordinate demo and rental equipment availabilitySubmit new equipment and attachment orders to PurchasingRelease SEC equipment and attachments from branch locations after confirming availability and commitment statusAssist Parts with identifying serial numbers for equipment and attachmentsTrucking & LogisticsSchedule all internal and hired trucking for equipment movementCreate trucking requests and purchase orders for hired transportationCoordinate with the Trucking Manager for internal deliveriesMaintain trucking calendars and ensure proper documentation is submittedDocumentation & ComplianceReview all DPOs submitted to Corporate for accuracyProvide warranty information and buyer guides to customersEnsure compliance with state tax laws, title requirements, and sales regulationsMaintain organized digital and hard-copy files for contracts, commissions, and sales documentationTrack required documents for commissions and final sale processingTeam CollaborationMaintain the SSA Monday Board for accuracyParticipate in meetings, training sessions, and cross-functional coordination with Purchasing, Finance, Insurance, Warranty, Sales, and Operations teamsServe as the bridge between departments to ensure seamless transaction flowKey Performance MetricsAccuracy of documentation submitted to CorporateNumber of opportunities createdNumber of opportunities successfully closedQualificationsPreferred Education & ExperiencePost-secondary education (Community College, University, Trade School) or professional development in business, sales, or office administration preferred6 months to 3 years of administrative experienceCRM experience preferred, especially SalesforceStrong working knowledge of:Microsoft ExcelMicrosoft WordOutlookDocuSign / HelloSignSkills for SuccessExceptional attention to detailStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and follow-up skillsProblem-solving mindsetAbility to work collaboratively across multiple departmentsOur CultureAt Southeastern Equipment Company, we create relationships—not transactions.Our MissionThrough high levels of customer service, we provide solutions and expertise to help customers move material and build the future.Our Core ValuesPassion - We have steadfast determinationHelpful - We are reliableHustle - We have grit and do more than what is requiredHuman - We treat everyone with empathy and dignityCustomer First - We make sure our customers are cared for firstIf these values reflect how you work and lead, we’d like to meet you.
