We want you to apply now. Job Summary and Qualifications:  Performs consistentlyaccurateand high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in specialty clinics servinghigh riskpatients. The specific area of expertise is OB/GYN,specifically. Maintains a high standard of patient care. Participates in providingpatient-specificcare as directed and follows service excellence standards to ensurehigh levelsof patient satisfaction.   What you will do in this role: Applies fetal ultrasound principles in the evaluation of fetal anomalies. Appliesgynologicalultrasound principles in the evaluation ofpatient. Adapts to various ultrasound machines whilemaintaininghigh standardsof sonography.  Identifiesfetal anomalies, such as CNS, maxillofacial, cardiothoracic, abdomen, abdomen wall, genitourinary, extremity placental, umbilical cord growth disturbance. Performs ultrasounds on maternal uterus,cervixand ovaries. Performs complicated twin and triplet scans in conjunction with in-office multiple gestationservice.Identifiesgynologicalanomalies such as fibroids, thickenedendometriumand polyps.  Makespreliminary, equivocal diagnosis ofgynologicaland fetal disorders in the organ systemsmentioned inabove.  Operates General Electric,Accuson, Medison, and ATL ultrasound machines withproficiency. Continues to expand knowledge oflatesttechnology.  Maintains ultrasound logging records including past medical history, past surgical history, past obstetric history, and past genetic history.  Prepares patients for procedures including and not limited to Level I &II ultrasounds, amniocentesis, lung maturity amniocentesis, PUBS,anmioreduction, external cephalic version, and GYN ultrasound.  Maintains professionalrelationshipwith other staff members, other obstetric offices and hospital personnel.  Exercises independent judgement when interpreting Biophysical Profiles designed to assess fetal well-being.Alertsphysicians of potentially dangerous conditions. Diagnoses fetal weight disturbances based on fetal biometry. Diagnoses multiple fetal anomalies and reports anddemonstratesthem tophysician.  What Requirements you will need:  EDUCATION:  Associates degree in Ultrasound,required  Bachelor’s degree, preferred  EXPERIENCE:  At least one year of related experience  CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:  ARDMS,required  RDMS – OB/GYN,preferred  BLSrequired  Must be certified in diagnostic ultrasound in accordancetostate regulations. Benefits Memorial Health - Perinatology Specialists, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
