This role is part-time/full time with a starting hourly pay of $16.90+tips.Work EnvironmentFirehouse Que and Brew is a fast paced, high-energy, moderately noisy environment containing multiple personality types. Can become busy and high-pressure, especially on the weekends and during special events.ResponsibilitiesExcellent customer service skills. Ensure high standards of service and guest satisfaction throughout each shift.Be familiar with promotions, sales, and assist with dining eventsBe able to answer questions and make recommendations regarding our food menu, beer and wine selectionMaintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areasWash and sterilize glasswareSupport customer and front-of-house needsHandle guest requests and resolve any issues promptly and professionallyEnsure compliance with responsible alcohol service and all applicable regulationsUphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, adhering to the dress codeMaximize efforts towards productivity while retaining focus on hospitality and a positive guest experienceShow initiative, including anticipating customer or operational needsPerform other related duties as requested by management and/or that support the teamCharge purchases accurately and immediately into the Point of Sale systemAccept customer payment, process credit card charges and make change,Assist the restocking and replenishment of inventory and suppliesOther Duties as AssignedQualificationsFood handlers card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification requiredSolid Customer Service skillsMust be 21 years of age or olderExperience bartending/serving 1+ yearsPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for at least 8 hours in length.Must be able to exert well-paced ability to remain organized and calm during high-volume shifts.Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, hearing, and visual accuracies.CommentsThis job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all the job functions that this position may be asked to perform from time to time.
