Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Fort Plain, NY
Step into an impactful role working with students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, onsite contract position offers the opportunity to provide essential support to a diverse K-12 caseload, primarily focused on K-8, with a small group of high school students. You'll collaborate closely with staff and families in a supportive, educational environment. Responsibilities include:Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify individual student needsDevelop and implement IEP-based therapy plans for approximately 40 students, with focused support primarily for K-8 and four high schoolersLead engaging therapy sessions, both individually and in small groupsMaintain meticulous documentation on progress, attendance, and complianceParticipate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, families, and specialists to ensure student successOffer consultation and resources to educators and parents to promote communication skills across the school setting To succeed in this role, you should have:Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure (CCC or eligibility for CFY welcomed)Experience in school-based and pediatric SLP preferredStrong clinical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to tailor therapy and intervention plans to diverse student needsCommitment to professional, evidence-based practice in a team environment The position runs from September 2, 2026, through June 25, 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7:40am to 3:05pm.
