This individual will balance hands-on troubleshooting with coordination of preventive maintenance, spare parts, contractor support, and cross-functional communication with production leadership. This role is well suited for a mechanically strong maintenance professional who can lead from the floor and help bring structure to a growing operation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day to day maintenance execution for a growing manufacturing site, balancing equipment uptime, facility reliability, and project work.Build and manage a practical preventive maintenance program for mixers, mills, pumps, conveyors, and other plant systems.Partner closely with production leadership to prioritize work, reduce downtime, and support a fast-moving operation.Coordinate internal resources and outside contractors to complete repairs, upgrades, and facility improvement projects safely and on schedule.Maintain organized spare parts, maintenance supply, and MRO inventory to improve response time and avoid repeat failures.Troubleshoot mechanical systems and support a broad range of plant needs, from critical production equipment to general facility repairs.Track work orders, purchases, and maintenance activity using standard office tools and ERP or maintenance systems.Support a culture of accountability, teamwork, and hands on problem solving across maintenance and operations.Desired BackgroundHands on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing, processing, packaging, or similar production environment.Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, with working knowledge of pumps, motors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, and rotating equipment.Previous lead, mentor, or supervisory experience is valued, but strong technicians ready to step into leadership are encouraged to apply.Ability to coordinate multiple priorities in an active plant environment with changing daily needs.Experience working with vendors, contractors, purchasing, and maintenance-related inventory is helpful.Comfort using Microsoft Office and plant systems for tracking maintenance activity, purchasing, or materials.Commitment to safe work practices and a clean, compliant operating environment.Strong communication skills and a practical, team-first leadership style.About Blue Signal:Blue Signal is an award-winning, executive search firm specializing in various specialties.
