The company has a global footprint of high-profile customers operating 24-7 for the betterment of all patients.The company has several opportunities for passionate and innovative people to join the team and share in the development of technologies to solve surgical and imaging challenges in patient care.The OpportunityThe Clinical Account Manager (CAM) role blends clinical excellence with strong sales initiative to focus on developing new business opportunities and ensuring continued success and growth within existing accounts. The CAM will maintain and grow Synaptive's customer base by providing expert account management and clinical support to existing accounts as well as partnering with the sales and marketing team to build and grow new partnerships within their assigned territory.What You'll DoCollaborate closely with sales and marketing to develop and implement sales strategies to meet business objectivesEffectively build relationships with stakeholders (neurosurgeons, RNs, schedulers, administration) as a clinical, technical and business resourceUtilize clinical expertise to prospect, qualify, and develop sales opportunities through targeted customer engagementsProvide product and clinical expertise to demonstrate Synaptive's value with customers at sales events (demos, evals, marketing events, conferences, labs, etc.)Lead clinical and sales support of Synaptive clinical evaluations at prospective accounts, with a focus on clinical excellence through demonstrating the functionality and clinical benefits to the account stakeholdersActively drive negotiating and closing of sales opportunities in close collaboration with sales team to help facilitate a smooth and expedient sales processLaunch new accounts within assigned territory training customers to proficiently and independently use our technologyWork closely with sales operations to diligently track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and performance metricsBe the primary account manager for existing accounts within assigned territory and maintain customer satisfaction working closely with the clinical application, sales, and service teams.Continuously cultivate relationships with accounts to increase product utilization, adoption (expanding to other specialties, new users), and growth.Develop and build resident awareness and engagement through activities such as demos, cadaver labs, courses, etc.Provide clinical case support of all Synaptive surgical products inside and outside of the operating room as neededDeliver Synaptive surgical product training and coaching pre-operatively and intra-operatively to surgeons and hospital staffManage and provide customer feedback to leadership, product management, engineering, and service team to resolve a customer concern or aid in product enhancement and development.Prospect, qualify, and develop co-marketing opportunities collaborating with sales and marketingExecute good administrative requirements and documentation practices, completing all required case reporting, continuous education and paperwork on time and accurately to ensure compliancy.Actively engage in the 1:1 calls with manager(s), weekly/bi-weekly team calls, national team meetings, company townhalls and annual performance reviews.Commit to continuous learning through active engagement in sales training, product updates, and remaining informed on market trends.Local and non-local travel which would include periodic consecutive weeks of travel to support new site launches and set up, ensuring customers are proficiently trained and supported.The employee may perform other related duties as necessary to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.What You'll NeedBachelor of Science Degree in a related field (health sciences, medical technology, business, etc.)3+ years of experience in clinical support, sales, or a related role in the medical device, robotics, or healthcare industryDeep understanding of clinical workflows and operating room environments in combination with the use of technologyStrong customer relationship building and communication skills with experience in presenting complex information to diverse audiences and the ability to tailor communication styles to different stakeholders including surgeons, hospital staff, and hospital managementDemonstrated ability to develop, drive and close sales opportunitiesAbility to work effectively as a sales team to accomplish business goals and adapt strategies to changing market conditionsExperience working cross-functionally with clinical applications, sales, marketing, product development, and service teamsStrong customer service approach with attention to detail and ability to bring customer satisfaction situations to a successful conclusion in a timely mannerA valid drivers license and USA passport is required with the ability to travel to customer While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a hospital environment.
