Software Verification Engineer

ApplyDescriptionInnovative Aerosystems is seeking a Software Verification Engineer to support verification and validation activities for safety-critical aerospace software. This position provides hands-on experience with embedded systems, requirements-based testing, code analysis, and FAA certification standards including DO-178C and DO-254.Working alongside experienced engineers, you will participate in the software verification process throughout the software development lifecycle while contributing to products where reliability and quality are critical.ResponsibilitiesReview and analyze software requirementsDevelop and execute test proceduresPerform graphics, I/O, unit-level, and system-level testingConduct code-to-requirement differential and regression analysisReview source code for coding standard compliancePerform structural coverage analysisDocument, track, and report software issuesPrepare verification documentation, technical reports, and other project deliverablesCollaborate with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams throughout the development lifecycleRequirementsEducationBachelor's Degree InComputer Science (with C programming experience)Computer Engineering (with C programming experience)Electrical Engineering (with C programming experience)Desired SkillsStrong programming and analytical skillsEmbedded C and Assembly language experienceCode review and code coverage analysis experienceUnderstanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Experience with software testing or verification methodologiesExcel/VBA knowledge is a plusFPGA or Verilog experience is a plusProfessional CharacteristicsStrong written and verbal communication skillsEffective problem-solving and analytical thinking abilitiesInitiative and willingness to learn new technologies and processesAbility to research, self-teach, and work independentlyDependability, accountability, and attention to detailCommitment to producing high-quality work in a team environmentU.s.
