Electrical EngineerBloomfield, CT (Onsite)Test Equipment EngineeringDesign, build, and commission new electronic test equipment and repair fixtures.Develop functional, diagnostic, and end-of-line test solutions for industrial electronic assemblies.Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment documentation, and bills of material.Develop validation protocols and acceptance criteria for deployed test systems.Integrate instruments, data acquisition systems, power supplies, PLCs, and automation components as required.Electronics Repair & Technical LeadershipProvide expert-level troubleshooting support for:PCBAsPower electronicsVariable frequency drives (VFDs)Motor control systemsIndustrial control electronicsEmbedded electronic assembliesImprove diagnostic methodologies and repair effectiveness.Reduce repeat failures, no-fault-found occurrences, and repair cycle times.Serve as the technical authority for repair processes and test methodologies.Process Improvement & Facility LayoutAnalyze existing workflows, material movement, workstation utilization, and throughput.Design optimized facility and cell layouts utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles.Improve production flow, technician productivity, and inventory management.Establish standardized workstations, repair processes, and testing procedures.Implement best practices for quality, safety, ergonomics, and operational efficiency.Capacity ExpansionDevelop and execute plans to increase repair capacity.Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to increase throughput and operational flexibility.Support staffing and operational ramp-up activities.DeliverablesQualification:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
