T26/27 - MATH TEACHER (Candidate Pool)

Job DescriptionQualifications:Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure.Mathematics endorsement.Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area, is preferred but not required.Experience:Teaching experience in the above mentioned area.Knowledge of best instructional practices.Ability to integrate technology.Experience in educational and instructional leadership.Responsibilities:Implements instructional programs that meet the needs, interests and abilities of students using appropriate instructional materialsMaintains safe and orderly environmentCommunicates with parents/guardiansMaintains complete and accurate student recordsCollaborates with school administrators, other teachers, instructional assistants, parents, and community membersMonitors and assesses student achievementAttends ongoing professional learning and meetingsSalary:Salary will be based on the FY2026-27 salary schedule.Arlington Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer
