As a Global Supply Chain Manager 1, you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is located in Bacchus and Promontory, UT and does require work at both locations. Job DutiesResponsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, budget and execution of all material and services content for a Program or collection of ProgramsActs as the main focal point for the Program Management Office (PMO) for the entire supply chain and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliersDevelops the material strategy and leads the activities for GSC in all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP)Ensures that prior to program execution, all elements of the proposed program(s) plans have complete and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement and subcontracts strategiesLeads supply chain Program execution and is accountable for resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolutionBriefs the PMO and executive management on the status and issues affecting Program cost and schedule performance and necessary action plansActs as the escalation path for the PMO to address issues in program execution related to the supply chainWorks cohesive with other disciplines such as engineering, operations, quality, etc. to ensure delivery of required materials to support production needs within budgetAs a leader with integrity, you ensure ethical conduct, balanced results, and partner satisfaction. Skilled in building collaborative teams and customer trust, you communicate well, champion excellence, and embrace change.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in program management, project management, supply chain, or related field – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience in program management, project management, supply chain, or related field; in lieu of degree an additional 4+ years of experience may be consideredPrior program or project management experience successfully executing budgets and schedules of significant scope and complexityAbility to work initiatives that impact long-term program goals and mitigate risks in addition to urgent requirements to support day-to-day operationsExperience and comfort level working and supporting Earned Value Management requirementsExperience implementing and executing material program plans to meet program objectivesExpertise in supporting complex proposals of significant valueStrong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate a manner that fosters collaboration, trust, and builds positive relationshipsCompetence to work in an integrated team environment and influence changeSkilled and comfortable communicating and interfacing with high level leadershipKnowledge and experience in government contracting requirements and regulations (e.g. FAR, DFARS, ITAR, etc.)Ability to work onsite at both Promontory and Bacchus, UT locationsAbility to travel up to 15% of the timeAbility to obtain a Security ClearancePreferred QualificationsUnderstanding of hardware, material requirements, and critical suppliers for solid rocket motorsMaster of Business AdministrationCapability to read technical drawings and documentsHigh Proficiency working with MRP/ERP systemsExperience and understanding FAR/DFAR provisions including the requirements necessary to maintain a government approved contractor approved purchasing system (CPSR)Ability to communicate complex technical information to internal and external customersPrimary Level Salary Range: $104,500.00 - $156,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
