Attorney - Banking & Financial Institution Litigation 69562

Our client, a highly regarded Houston area law firm, has a great opportunity for a Senior Associate to join their Banking and Financial Institution Litigation Practice. This role is designed for an accomplished litigator with 7 or more years of experience in litigation, preferably representing banks and financial institutions. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to independently manage cases from inception through resolution, produce exceptional written work, and contribute to the firm's continued growth. Some portable business is preferred, but not required.This position offers the opportunity to work closely with one of the firm's regionally recognized bank litigation attorneys, known for significant courtroom successes and deep expertise in financial institution defense.Key ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage and litigate bank litigation matters from pre-suit through trial and appealDraft, review, and oversee high-quality pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, and other litigation filingsDevelop and execute litigation strategy in coordination with clientsAppear in court for hearings, trials, mediations, and negotiationsProvide counsel to financial institution clients, including risk assessment and resolution planningMentor and supervise associates and support staff as appropriateActively participate in business development efforts, including client relationship management and expansion of existing accountsMaintain exceptional client communication and the highest standards of professionalismQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice law in TexasMinimum of seven (7) years of substantive litigation experience with some banking or financial institution litigation experience strongly preferredDemonstrated ability to handle matters independently and exercise sound judgmentExcellent legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skillsProven success in court proceedings, negotiations, and dispute resolutionPlease reference job ID #69562.About R.L.
