Nuclear Medicine Tech Location: Orange, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,939 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/30/2026 About the Position Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (09:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years required, no first-time travelers accepted License: State license required Certifications: BLS, NMTCB, CA State license, ARRT or NMTCB accepted Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of experience - Prior experience with PET scans preferred, but training will be provided on-site - Must be available for a shift schedule of Monday to Friday, no weekends or holidays - Willingness to be on an optional on-call schedule during the week Description: The position involves responsibilities as a Nuclear Medicine Technician. Clinicians will be expected to perform PET scans. Experience with PET scans is preferred but training will be provided. The schedule consists of five 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday. There will be no weekend or holiday shifts required. Optional on-call hours are available for those interested. Call shifts would be on weekdays from 0430 to 2200 and on weekends from 0600 to 2200, with a 60-minute response time. Orientation shifts will occur in the morning for the first two weeks. Applicants must have completed the required qualifications and certifications. The facility provides care to adult and geriatric populations. Daily census includes approximately 5 to 10 patients. Preferred skills include experience in general nuclear medicine studies and the ability to perform various types of scans. All candidates must be willing to float between facilities as directed.
