We focus on early-stage, cross-sector investments. Additionally, we allocate capital to other VC funds as LP investments.Job DescriptionKDB Silicon Valley LLC is seeking an Accounting & Risk Manager at our Mountain View, CA location. As a key member of our team, this position will be responsible for accounting and risk management, middle/back-office system management, HQ communication, etc.Location: On-site at Mountain View officeStart Date: CoordinationCompensation: USD 80,000 ~180,000 (Commensurate with experience, market competitive)ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations and supporting documentationLiaise with external auditors throughout year-end financial statement auditsLead budgeting and forecasting processes for the company, including annual budget planning, periodic reforecast, variance analysis, and management reporting to senior leadershipProvide ad-hoc financial management reports as neededCoordinate and manage all interactions with external tax advisors, including preparation and review of corporate tax returns and estimated tax calculationsManage the company's financial activities including fund transfers and paymentsEngage in active communications with KDB HQ's Financial Planning, Risk Management and submit required reporting accordinglyLead quarterly and annual valuation processes for the portfolio, including collection and validation of inputs, selection and application of appropriate valuation methodologies, and documentation.Maintain accounting, budget and risk management policies and proceduresAssist with quarterly, semi-annual, and annual auditsCoordinate, plan, and lead IT activities including HQ software management or selection for fund management and CRMAdditional office duties as assignedQualificationsBilingual highly preferred - English and Korean (native)Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a relevant majorSolid understanding of US GAAP and IFRSExperience in accounting/risk management ideally in finance or investment environment (Open to Junior candidates)CPA highly preferredProficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsDiscretion and confidentialityPlanning and time management skillsHigh level of motivation, integrity, and self-confidenceRespect and care, collaboration and flexibility, honesty and transparencyCandidates applying for this position must be legally authorized to work in the United States* Full-time employees are eligible for our comprehensive benefits package starting on the first day of the month following the successful completion of a 90-day introductory period.
