Client Program Specialist - PatentThis is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the top law firms in the U.S.! Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is looking for a Client Program Specialist - Patent to join our team in our Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, or Los Angeles offices. This position offers the flexibility to be fully remote while working within reasonable commuting distance from any of our offices. This position is responsible for providing support to patent client teams, including overseeing projects, and contributing to process flow organization. Regardless of position, everyone here has a voice and the support is unparalleled.On a typical day you will:Oversee status of patent projects using project management toolsManage a high volume of client communication, and determine appropriate action or responseManage a high volume of client billing, with attention to client and internal billing guidelinesReport new actions, filings, and other patent activity to clientLiaison with clients to provide information by telephone, email, and using client specific softwareClear subject matter conflicts, and monitor client specific deadlinesCoordinate scheduling of disclosure meetings and review meetingsAvailability and willingness to work overtime as needed or requestedOther duties as assignedJoin us if you have:1+ years of experience in an office setting, preferably in the legal or professional services industryDemonstrated project management experiencePrior experience with project management software and/or docketing softwareSelf-starter with a high degree of attention to detail and sensitivity to confidential materialsAbility to accurately type 50+ wpmProficiency in MS Office Products (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe AcrobatDemonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and independentlyAbility to multitask and balance competing projects and deadlinesA highly professional demeanor and appearanceAbility to work in a team-oriented, service focused environment and to handle stressful situations in calm, composed mannerPrevious experience in a law firm or professional services organization, supporting a multi-office environment, preferredA high school diploma or GED certificationStrong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with all levels of a professional services organization, including interpersonal skillsStrong customer service, analysis, troubleshooting and problem solving skillsWho We AreDavis Wright Tremaine LLP is an AmLaw 100 law firm with 9 offices nationwide. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate's education, training, experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, telemedicine and virtual short term solution based counseling services, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, subsidized backup care and caregiving resources, 401(k), vacation, sick time, 11 paid holidays each year and an employee assistance program. For full-time employees, the initial vacation benefit is 15 days per year and 11 days of sick leave per year, accrued bi-weekly. Additional voluntary programs include: voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary long term care, and pet insurance. Commuter and Transit programs are also available.CaliforniaThe annualized salary range for this position in Los Angeles is $71,000 to $80,000; and in San Francisco is $88,000 to $100,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
