We are seeking a strategic and dependable Senior Technical Architect to serve as the lead technical resource supporting Customer Success and Support organizations. This role acts as the primary authority for complex technical inquiries, ensuring customer-facing teams have the architectural guidance required to deliver high-quality solutions.The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership for critical onboarding initiatives, bridging complex customer requirements with internal delivery teams to ensure scalable, reliable outcomes. This position requires strong collaboration across engineering, product, and delivery teams to maintain alignment between customer needs and technical capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesCross-Department Technical LeadershipServe as the primary technical point of contact for Customer Success and Support teams, providing architectural guidance for custom implementations, migrations, and complex deployments.Customer Onboarding SupportAct as a technical lead for high-priority onboarding engagements, helping ensure smooth platform adoption while preventing technical silos early in the customer lifecycle.Technical GovernanceContribute to the Technical Center of Excellence (CoE) by helping define and maintain technical standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines across professional services engagements.Strategic Problem SolvingInvestigate and resolve complex architectural challenges for key accounts, helping drive long-term platform adoption and customer success.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner closely with Engineering and Product teams to communicate field-driven technical requirements and ensure product roadmaps support delivery needs.Global Knowledge TransferSupport collaboration between global delivery teams to ensure a smooth technical handoff during onboarding and project execution, maintaining architectural consistency and knowledge continuity.Technical Skills & RequirementsData Processing & OrchestrationExperience with distributed data processing and orchestration technologies such as:Apache SparkTrinoApache AirflowApache NiFiGovernance & MetadataExperience working with data governance and metadata management platforms such as:Apache RangerDataHubModern Data StorageUnderstanding of modern table formats and cloud-based storage architectures including:Apache IcebergObject Storage (S3 or equivalent)Cloud-Native InfrastructureStrong experience working with containerized infrastructure and distributed platforms including:Kubernetes (K8s) or OpenShiftLinux systems administrationGit-based workflowsAutomation & ScriptingProficiency with automation and scripting tools such as:Bash / Shell scriptingPythonInfrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred)Observability & MonitoringExperience working with monitoring and logging tools such as:GrafanaPrometheusDatadogELK / OpenSearchCloudWatchSoft SkillsStrong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiencesCalm, methodical troubleshooting approachAbility to analyze architecture diagrams, logs, and ambiguous technical problemsComfortable collaborating across Engineering, Customer Success, Delivery, and Product teamsStrong ownership mindset with the ability to drive problems through to resolutionIdeal Experience6+ years of experience in technical architecture, solution design, or platform engineering within SaaS, cloud platforms, or professional services environments2+ years supporting production platforms in roles such as Technical Support Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Data Platform OperationsExperience troubleshooting distributed systems, data pipelines, and cloud-native applicationsExposure to major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience supporting customers directly in a technical capacityFamiliarity with incident management and root cause analysis processesExperience supporting hybrid or on-premise deployments is a plus
