Maintenance Technician

About the Team: At the ZF Lafayette facility, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining PM process in SAP, work order entry, tracking and reporting, Maintenance KPIs and backup support for maintenance team. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with Operations, Engineering, and Purchasing to provide accurate data, timely secure parts in order to assure maximum opperational availability. Communication throughout all levels of the plant, critical thinking, problem solving, and the right technical skills will be vital to success in this role. Being flexible and able to work with other team members effectively will facilitate meeting the targets and objectives of the ZF Lafayette facility. What you can look forward to as a Maintenance Technician: Manages sites PM process using SAP, including data input, development, printing, distribution, tracking and reporting. Work order entry and monitoring to completion. Reports maintenance KPI's through easy to read and understand site metrics including downtime, mean time between failure, total time to repair, response time, and technician utilization. Works with Operations to plan machine projects and proactive work. Maintains and trains use of plant's SAP PM module. Assist skilled trades with inputting and closing PM and work order tickets and Part ordering and delivery. Maintains record library, parts inventory and provides input to Maintenance Manager on failure trends. Fills in for Maintenance Support when needed. Your Profile as a Maintenance Technician: Minimum of 5 years of expereince working in a manufacturing environment High School diploma or equivalent required College or work experience prefered Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Six Sigma Greenbelt is a plus.
