St. Joseph Parish School is located in both Issaquah, WA (preschool through 3rd grade) and Snoqualmie, WA (4th 8th grade). We have one class per grade with a total of 188 students. The mission of St. Joseph Parish School, in partnership with parents and the parish community, is to form the hearts and minds of children through the example of Jesus Christ. Teacher candidates will work in collaboration with our dynamic and engaging school staff.Candidates must be practicing Catholics who are committed to sharing our Catholic faith and supporting students in reaching high academic standards. A bachelor's degree is required (preferably in education). A current teaching certificate is preferred; however, we will consider highly motivated candidates who are actively working toward certification. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential. We are seeking a dedicated, mission-driven educator who is eager to be part of a supportive, faith-filled school community.Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe Middle School Teacher, reporting to the Principal & Vice Principal, will join a collaborative team of colleagues to build a creative, engaging and student-centered learning environment, employing best practices for educating students in an inclusive setting.
