Job Description: A Classic Party Rental is seeking a full-time driver/ crew leader. Using our vehicles, the delivery driver will serve our existing customer base. Deliveries are local. We are located at 8020 Zionsville Road Indianapolis, IN. You will be driving company-owned box trucks up to 26,' but a CDL is NOT required. The Driver will load and unload vehicles/trucks and deliver equipment in full or partial loads while working with the dispatcher/delivery coordinator and delivery assistant. The Driver may also assemble and disassemble the equipment at the customer sites. Our Drivers exhibit friendly and courteous customer service professionals. Our team is family-friendly, high-energy, hardworking, and dedicated. Our Drivers are a crucial part of our team and assure the equipment is delivered to our clients safely, on time, and with a smile. Responsibilities Include: Pulling Orders from warehouse Loading and unloading trucks Deliver, set up, take down and pick up equipment for parties and other events Demonstrates safe and efficient driving skills and is courteous and cooperative Responsible for maintaining the vehicle in a clean, orderly fashion Ability to drive non-CDL box trucks, operate lift gates, and adequately secure equipment. A CDL is NOT required. Clean, maintain and organize equipment in the warehouse Willing to work a flexible schedule during the busy season, which will include nights and weekends (Busy season is April through October) Maintain accurate delivery and return records Inform customers about proper equipment operation Perform other duties as requested. Serve as an excellent company representative.
