Only W2Notes:** Fully Remote for now but will be hybrid once office re-open: Mountain View, CA** Very high possibility of conversion to FTE** MOST IMPT: Corporate L&D experience with operations and vendor management experience** Should be open to 70% operational support for the L&D team along with Program management activities** Manager intends to provide stability to the L&D team because of recent departures so candidates with recent short stints in their job history will not be a great fit.Job Description:Pure Storage is seeking an interim program manager to join our dynamic and visionary corporate learning and development team that is leading the way with strategic programs that set our employees, leaders and business up for success by driving a growth mindset culture, visionary leadership, and operational excellence.The Learning and Development Program Manager is an interim short-term role responsible for managing Pure's global, corporate-wide end-to-end learning solutions that enable our employees to develop their skills, grow their careers, and drive Pure's success. The ideal candidate possesses technical savvy, superb project management and prioritization skills and the drive and bias for action to make that vision a reality. They are comfortable managing both strategic projects end-to-end as well as supporting day-to-day learning operations. This individual is also expected to perform some instructional design of live virtual / in-person programs and facilitate as needed. This role reports directly into the head of Pure's corporate Learning and Development team and will be part of the broader Talent Management Center of Excellence.What You BringYou are a self-motivated team player who excels in a fast-paced, high engagement environment. You are deeply passionate about learning and excited by the opportunity to innovate, manage and deliver unique programs to support a rapidly growing and broadly distributed organization.In this role, you'll be part of an inclusive and engaging working environment and will collaborate extensively with other Talent Management and HR team members, business stakeholders, and external vendors and partners.Responsibilities:Learning Operations:Provide LMS administrative support using Workday Learning (e.g., building courses, setting up enrollment links/campaigns, maintaining course content, liaising with business leads and assisting employees with technical issues)Provide production support for live training and virtual events as needed using ZoomDevelop and manage the company-wide learning calendar including workshop schedule, formal development programs and other L&D events, and coordinate timing of offerings with annual HR and corporate programs and eventsCreate program calendars and partner with Employee Communications in drafting communications to create awareness for key programsDevelop, track and report on metrics measuring the utilization, efficacy and impact of learning programs and provide reports to business stakeholders as neededOnboard new vendors and manage all aspects of vendor relationships such as invoicing, payments and contractingWork with Finance and other HR leaders within the Employee Communications and Experience team on developing a departmental budget as well as judiciously tracking expensesProgram Management / Instructional Design:Support the administration and program management of LinkedIn Learning, existing L&D programs, individual assessments, coaching engagements and other ad hoc learning solutionsInteract with global HR and functional teams to gather requirements, develop project plans as well as budget and staffing plans to support the learning needs and opportunities of the organization.Manage learning projects from needs analysis to deployment, considering the complexities of a diverse audienceDrive innovative approaches to L&D and guide policy/process improvementsEngage with vendors to ensure quality and measure effectiveness of their deliverablesSupport the development of L&D content as needed and execute with consistent quality and timelinessDevelop custom content using modern instructional design methods and applications (Captivate, SnagIt and Canva) to support talent and performance management activities and other new L&D programs for on-demand learning, video-instructor-led-training (VILT), instructor-led-training (ILT), blended learning, job aides, etc.Qualifications:5+ years of experience in a global, fast paced and constantly changing business environment managing end-to-end learning programsExperience working with cross-functional teams in a global environmentExperience administering Workday Learning and managing Zoom features for live training workshops and eventsExperience working with various LMS/HR systems (e.g., Workday, LinkedIn Learning)Experience working with global external training, consulting and coaching providersTechnical aptitude to be able to quickly learn new technologies and develop various learning solutions.Strategic and tactical project management, communication, influencing and analytical skillsOrganized and exceptional attention to detailAble to successfully juggle multiple projects and work with different levels of stakeholdersAnalytical, problem solving and troubleshooting experience.Ability to prioritize workload and effectively balance competing priorities in order to meet ambitious deadlines.Comfort dealing with ambiguityBachelor's DegreePreferred:Experience in instructional design and facilitationExperience developing and/or facilitating training programs for a variety of audiencesExperience with RFP process for assessment of enterprise-level training vendors
