Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Sterling, VA, for a Software Engineer. The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions, with a strong focus on back-end web development and programming. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean and efficient code, implementing object-oriented programming principles, and contributing to the development of both new and existing software systems. The role involves problem-solving, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and ensuring software solutions align with industry best practices. Qualifications Strong understanding of Computer Science principles and software development methodologiesExperience in Back-End Web Development and Software DevelopmentProficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)Ability to collaborate in team environments and communicate technical concepts effectivelyProven problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced development environmentBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferredKnowledge of modern software tools and development frameworks is a plusExperience with software used in defense or government-related projects is advantageous
