Pacific Crest Federal Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Representative at our branch located in beautiful Christmas Valley, Oregon. The Member Service Representative provides our members and communities with the opportunity to prosper through direct work with members and potential members; listening, thinking and taking action to meet needs and provide solutions. Assist member with their financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments, as well as provides expertise with respect to Credit Union services such as IRAs, certificates of deposit, electronic funds transfer, home banking, etc. explains services, opens new accounts, responds to problems, and directs members to the appropriate people. Actively cross-sell products and servicesbenefiting ourmembers to achieve or exceed all established sales goals and assist in meeting the Credit Union goals. Who We Are... Essential Job Functions Promote Pacific Crest Federal Credit Unions Mission Deepen member relationships with Pacific Crest by maintaining current knowledge of all products and services, including the benefits and how they can benefit the member Receives and processes member financial transactions in an accurate and efficient manner Achieves or exceeds established sales goals through building of member relationships, referring products and services to meet their needs Proactively work with all departments to ensure an exceptional member service experience is delivered with every member interaction Education and Experience Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, higher education is a plus 1-2 years of financial services or related experience preferred Customer service and/or retail experience is strongly preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Detail oriented and good organizational skills Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills Excellent computer skills Motivated to learn and grow within the position and credit union Problem-solving skills Scheduling flexibility required PHYSICAL CONSIDERATIONS A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) is necessary. Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds Stooping; kneeling; crouching; and reaching below, at, and over shoulder level required Sitting 80%; standing and walking - 20% Hearing, visual, and verbal ability required.
