Our sole mission is to change the quality of peoples lives and in the process create long lasting relationships with our patients. *Job Summary* Seeking a part time MRI Technologist to independently perform a full range of MR procedures, willingness to work in other modalities, utilizing the equipment in accordance with physicians orders, and protocols according to established radiologic standards and procedures, and federal regulations. Must perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, and be highly skilled using specialized equipment to produce cross sectional images of the human anatomy. Exams must be performed with accuracy and thoroughness in a timely manner. Must possess strong interpersonal, and patient care skills, be team oriented, and willing to perform other duties as assigned. Minimum two years MR experience required. While building a diverse team, we foster inclusion for every employee, and uphold an environment where everyone is treated with compassion and respect. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities* * Exam relative clinical history intake. * Exam relative instruction for patients prior to being performed. * Strong communication skills with patient throughout exam. * Establish scanning protocols. * Ability to accommodate for special instructions. * Familiarity with equipment and accessories. * Discretion and ability to discern key technical factors for exam. * Strong understanding of proper positioning. * Focus on patient comfort. * Proper screening protocols for contraindication to MRI examination . * Proper magnetic field safety at all times. * Knowledge of all MRI emergency procedures. * Organization and documentation related to patient care and imaging procedures * Documents and reports all incidents, radiation safety concerns and equipment malfunctions to coordinator in a timely fashion. *Job Requirements and Skills:* * Upbeat, professional demeanor * Ideal Candidate will reside in reasonable proximity * College education required * 2 years minimum MRI experience preferred Job Type: Part Time Pay: $40-45 per hour Education: * Graduate of an approved Radiology Technology school with current ARRT registry and possessing a current New York State license of Radiologic Technology. * One year ARRT registry in MRI preferred.
